2008 College Signees
By most Club team standards, TEXstar
volleyball is in its youth. The team graduated its first Alumni class in
2003 and has since continued to develop collegiate level athletes. This
year is no exception. With current alumni taking on leadership roles
with their teams, we continue to have high school seniors who are
gaining recognition at the national level. PrepVolleyball.com has named
two of our athletes as Senior Aces. Unlike The All-Texas Team and other
honors, the Senior Ace is based only on a senior's potential impact over
four years at the collegiate level. High school achievement was not a
factor nor was the university they would attend.
